Meet the Car Care Experts
We have assembled some of the finest people in the business to answer your questions. Please do read the code of conduct that our experts abide by.
Geoff is very experienced in all forms of Smart Repair technique -- he used to teach the subject! Like many of our experts, working on cars runs in the family and Geoff is the son of a coach trimmer, and has been involved in vehicle repair most of his life.
The area where Geoff really excels is in the repair of scuffs and scrapes on vehicle exteriors and this is what he'll be answering questions on. So please send in your photos.
Kieran Bass - New Again
Before joining our team, Kieran held various positions at a Honda dealership and he is still an enthusiast for the marque, using a Type R on track days... he also has a box full of trophies for kart racing!
Since working at New Again, Kieran has become highly proficient in paintwork correction techniques for which this company is famous. Thus he is our man for managing Modern Car Renovation projects. He'll also be answering questions about Paint Sealants.
Patrick Coghlan - Renovo International
Convertible Hood Restoration
I must point out before we begin, that it IS NOT the real Queen pictured with Patrick -- however, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he receives due recognition!
A few years ago, Patrick bought a convertible car and suffered a whole host of problems with it. Unfortunately nobody seemed the solutions to his woes. Not being the kind of man to just accept this, he set about creating a range of product to clean, protect and recolour fabric hoods. Hoods are his business, and I think it fair to say that there are few people in the world better qualified to answer your questions on the subject.
Darrel is a man of many talents -- when he isn't connollising the leather on prestige cars, he strips down and re-builds classic cars. He is also involved with many of the flood and fire damaged cars that we restore.
But it's his work on leather that really sets him apart as an expert. Examples of which can be seen on this website... his works speaks for it's self.

Current restorations include a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II, a Ferrari 348 Spider, a Porsche Carrera Coupe and a Maserati Indi.
