Valeting + Smart Repair

It is actually the little splashes of paint which proved the most troublesome. There seemed like an almost endless number of areas which were effected.

The above photos shows the difficulty faced in removing the paint, at the top is a painted area, below that velour, leather is beneath that with plastic at the bottom.
Velour is very delicate and can easily be stretched and sensitive to steam. Solvents will remove the paint from the velour but can stain the leather or melt the plastic.

The paint has been removed from this passenger door panel, you can see the damage done by the brick hitting the handle. This was later filled and coloured using smart repair techniques.
