Citroen Lease Preparation
Up against the clock -- we prepared this car for return.
The Citroen is a lease car, that the lady has come in for one of our free appraisals and we've highlighted some problems. It's a private personal lease, it's not come through any company, the lady found this on the Internet and realised that we could help her and save her some money when returning her car.
With this particular car we are up against the clock because it is due back on Friday, which is just three days from now, we want all the work finished by Thursday.
We have highlighted that there are various scratches on the car, mainly on the bonnet and the drivers side, there is a dent on the rear quarter as well which is beyond what is acceptable. The sill quite badly damaged and leads to go to the body shop. And it's going to Kraftwork, a company which we highly recommend this kind of repair.
One of the biggest savings that this lady is repairing this passenger-side sill, Kraftwork have quoted, as a direct quote £199+vat. We are unsure what the chargeback for the sill would be, the lady has talked to the lease company on the phone to try and find out but they could not give her a price on the phone at the time.
The banging you hear in the background is the dent being removed from offside rear arch.
But still the sill is going to be a big saving, the ladies having it done for us because it is easier for her to just drop the car off and help us manage the repairs.
Right, the sill is all done then, it's been to Kraftwork hasn't it?
yes it's back from Kraftwork and it looks fantastic.
so what you doing there then?
I'm just gett polishing the scratch out on the door, and I have another scratch to get out of the bonnet and then the car is done.
here we have the Citroen C4, it's not had a full inspection, the lady has looked after it, she knows it quite well. The sill has all been done, it had a nasty gouging that... Actually it's the other side.
And that's been done down Kraftwork, and have done a great job of that. There are a couple of scratches down the sides, a few dents and some bits and pieces that have been done. We have done it all in record time because she was a bit short of time, so we've only had it a couple of days and it into the body shop and back.
She still leaves the wheels, we recommended she leaves the wheels, they are a bit scuffed but she's expecting to pay for them, but the cost of repair on these is very similar to the cost of chargeback, team might as well give it back in except that.
This car came in for one of our Free Lease Appraisals, we had three days to get it fixed before it was returned to the lease company.
